Tragic Crash Leaves 2 Children Without Their Mom And Dad after motorcycle accident in North Miami Beach.
Thursday, October 26, 2017: Miami-Dade police say conflicting statements mean no arrest or charges currently in the death of a Miami couple.
Steven and Alice Newport were killed today as the motorcycle they were riding was hit at the intersection of NE 163rd Street and NE 19th Ave in North Miami Beach.
According to police, the driver of the car that was in the accident was driven by a yet to be identified 17 year old male. At this time the driver has not been cited, charged or arrested.
Police say there are conflicting statements about who is at fault. They are looking for witnesses that saw the accident.
Traffic is backed up both east and west and north and south and expected to be slow for several hours as the police investigate the crash.
